Great to hear you are already on the trip Sally and for your encouragement. I will let you know when I have booked so we can keep in touch. I know that once I've booked I will be so excited, just need that final push and I'm almost there. I thought I'd do the biggest trip first and can't believe I'm even considering going away for 3 weeks on my own to such an unbelievable place. (see im getting all dreamy!).

Hopefully I can convince you to take the plunge and book. I am one of those going on this trip with the extension to Victoria Falls as well. If you look back through previous posts you will see that this is an amazing trip, with a brilliant mix of scenery and wildlife. I have done two previous trips with Just You (and many more with another company) including Australia last year which was a similar trip - three weeks of extensive touring and it was the most amazing experience. The reps are second to none, they look out for you at every stage and make sure you know where you're supposed to be and when. The groups of these sort of trips tend to be around 20-30 people with an age range of anything from 20's to 90's but it really is true that age is only a number. In general the people who go with Just You are fun loving, gregarious people who love travelling and love life. You are all in the same boat, looking for a fantasic holiday with lots of laughs.

If you have any questions about the trip, you can post again and I'm sure there will be plenty of people (including me) willing to help.

Once you've done your first trip you will never look back, in fact you will probably book your next trip before you've even done the washing!

I did this trip, my first on my own and with JY, including the add on in September last year. It was absolutely marvellous so don't wait any longer just book it. There were 26 in my group which consisted of 18 females and 8 men. 14 of us did the add on to Victoria Falls.

Everyone was so friendly and we all got on well despite varying differences in age. There were a number of first timers like myself but that feeling soon wears off and you'll have a great time and make new friends.

It is spring at that time of year and we had lovely weather the whole time apart from a couple of storms after we got to Durban.

I would recommend doing all the game drives including the one in Botswana. Seeing all the animals was a big highlight for me. Also do the helicopter ride over the Falls. You will never forget the experience.
