Can someone please help me - my doctors cannot tell me if I need anti-malarial tablets or not - I'm thinking they may be prudent given the game reserve and Ganges sections of the tour. Does anyone have a definitive answer, many thanks

Hi Lisa,

I have just come back from this trip and no, you do not need anti-malaria tablets. Good idea to ask for a broad spectrum anti-biotic like Ciproflaxin from your doctor though - just in case! Vital that you take, and use, anti-bacterial gel, and take Immodium and rehyrdration salts. You will have the most fantastic time of your life, this trip is awesome! Enjoy!

Hi Lisa

It's strange that your doctors can't advise you on this. You might find this website useful - it's the Scottish NHS site:
