The hotels in Beijing and Xian both offer broadband internet access. I couldn't see internet access on the Chengde hotel's website but I would expect them to offer it too. There may be a small charge for accessing the web.

Is there internet access in the hotels in China, hopefully I may not need it but theres a chance I may need to contact the UK what sort of access do the hotels have ???
