You won't need to get up at 4am for the Abu Simbel trip. I think someone has misinformed you here; there is an option balloon flight with a very early start but for Abu Simbel you will depart after breakfast.

It's possible that the itinerary has changed from the version you are looking at, but if so rest assured you won't miss anything - you will see the same things but just in a different order.

I rang to book this trip to be told we leave the 'Hotel' at 4:00am (not the boat & certainly not after breakfast) Has the whole holiday been turned round without notification?
