Hello Isabelle, the dresscode on the ship is definetly more casual than formal. Shorts and t-shirts are permitted whilst on the ship, however, I know that restaurants often have a strict policy of not allowing shorts at meal times. It would be worth packing some thin trousers for meal times.

i am going on the nile cruise in may ive been on a cruise before and dress was quite formal at mealtimes is this a bit more casual as i would imagine shorts and t-shirts are okay for the trips
