Hi Mo
Your breakfasts will be 'international' - i.e. cereal, toast, juice; while lunch and dinner will be Chinese-style. However, it isn't particularly spicy food so I'm sure you will adapt very quickly. The basic ingredients are probably much the same as you have at home - meat, fish, vegetables, rice and so on. For me, eating different foods is all part of the fun of travelling and experiencing a new culture!
As for the age range, 11 people have booked this trip and most are in their late 50s or 60s, with one or two a little younger. I'm sure you will feel at home with them.
The temperature will be fairly warm, sometimes quite hot, with an average range of 14-26 degrees celsius. It should be fairly dry but it's always taking a lightweight waterproof.
I really hope you decide to take the plunge and book. China is a fascinating country and I've no doubt that you'll have a wonderful time on our tour.
Kind regards,
Olly, your editor
