Hi Bev,

Thankyou for your message.

China has 4 distinct seasons very much like the UK, so February can be cold, especially in Beijing and Chengde. Having chosen a mid winter date you will be rewarded by the absence of crowds however as much of your time will be spent out and about please remember to wrap up well. We would recommend you take a warm coat, hat, gloves and warm footwear. The Chinese cope with the temperature by wearing several layers and we recommend that you plan to do the same.

Hope this helps.

Have a lovely time in China and I'd love to see a message about your holiday when you return

Kind Regards

Cheryl, your editor

Still trying to find out the climate for China in February - I'm not a sun worshipper, but would like to know what to expect?
