It is becoming increasingly difficult to book a Robben Island excursion on arrival in Capetown, so I suggest that you try and book in advance.

Have just received some initial info re South African Explorer which I have booked for May 2009. Looking at the optional excursions, I was disappointed to see that Robben Island is not an option. This is a place I had hoped to visit. Any advice as to how this could be arranged? Not long home from Rocky Mountaineer and Alaska so I know that there is not a lot of free time between the included and optional trips all of which I enjoyed.
