A standard return transfer between Heathrow and your home should be far less than £700, even with a premium service. It’s possible there was a mix-up in the details (such as dates, vehicle type, or number of passengers).

I’d recommend double-checking the exact pickup location and requirements with the team, as prices can vary depending on distance and vehicle size. If it’s just a straightforward return, it should come out much more reasonable.

Thanks for your reply Julia, it was a quote for both journeys I was looking for. Having researched quotes for both journeys from several independant airport transfer companies the general price (for both journeys) was £340 - £400. Therefore the £700 quote given by your telephone representative seems rather high for me. Thank you anyway but I will make my own arrangements. Would you be looking for the Door to Door service to and from Heathrow or just for the return? It looks like you have been quoted for a round trip.

We use a third party executive car service for our door-to-door chauffeur service who set the prices (relative to distance travelled) - I can have a colleague call to explain this service further is needed.

Could you please tell me how much it would cost to arrange return home - Heathrow airport transport for the February Namibia trip please. I called and spoke to one of your representatives a week or so ago and was quoted £700!!!!! Surely this must be a mistake! I could probably hire a small plane from my local airport and fly to Heathrow for that cost!
