Thanks so much for raising this very good question with regards to the Just You and Travelsphere tours. While we are sister brands, these tours are run by separate suppliers and so their offerings do vary. 

We would recommend talking to your Holiday Director soon after arrival and they can certainly support with making arrangements for some of you to visit the museum.

Having done both the JY Pompeii tour and the Travelsphere version 'Pompeii, Paestum and Herculaneum' before and because I'm a bit of a Roman history nut, I'm booked to do the Travelsphere version again in June 2025. 

However, I have noticed that the JY version still includes optional excusions to climb Vesuvius and also visit the Naples Museum but the Travelsphere website says that it's excursion to Vesuvius and the Museum, while running in 2024, won't be available next year. I wondered if you knew the reason for this? (Hopefully, you are not expecting Vesuvius or Campi Flegri to blow any time soon!)

I don't mind missing Vesuvius because I hiked up it, via both routes, in 2015 and 2023 but I'm quite disappointed about missing the wonderful museum. TS have suggested going during one of the 'days at leisure' but, as a single female traveller, I don't feel comfortable travelling on the Circumvesuviana or wandering round Naples alone. Will JY also not be running these excursions in 2025 or is it simply a matter of logistics because the TS hotel (in beautiful Vico Equense) is so much further away from Naples?

Hopefully, either the TS Tour Director may have a solution or I may be able to persuade a few of my fellow travellers to join me for a trip to the museum, but I was just interested to know why some similar excursions are running and some are not in 2025.
