I do not think you need any malaria tablets for South Africa - I did not take any when I did this tour a few years back but best to check with your practice nurse if there is one. You only need Yellow Fever certificate if you are travelling from a country where there is a risk of yellow fever so no need for it since you are travelling from the UK. I did not take any malaria tablets for South Africa or Namibia. I remember some of my fellow travellers were taking them in Namibia and one of them felt quite ill.
Kind regards
Jaya

I have just had my vaccinations for my trip to South Africa on 27th September. My nurse recommended Hep A, tetanus and Typhoid.
Hope this helps,
Michelle.
Thank you for your message. Please visit the following link to search for your vaccination requirements: https://www.justyou.co.uk/information/travel-requirements-visa-service/
The UK Gov site https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/south-africa should also be useful and worth checking back regularly to make sure that nothing has changed and to keep up to date.
Have a fantastic trip!
