Thank you for sharing your super photos. My favourite was the leopard, reminding me of our lovely JY holiday to South Africa in 2006, even though we didn't see a leopard. Didn't even manage a clouded leopard in Borneo, did we? So I will obviously have to track an even more elusive snow leopard when I am in  Tibet, won't I?

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. If I may say so myself, I am very pleased with the photos I managed to take with the new camera. Peter, I was not sure if I managed to capture the cheetah or not so was so pleased to find that I did. Also, when I took the photo of the hippos with the crocodile, I was surprised to see that there were two crocs instead of one when I uploaded the photos to my computer! So from now on I am not deleting anything till I get home and have a look at the photos on the laptop!

What fantastic photos .I like the cheetah which was hard to see. I took 5 hours of video on the trip which I have transferred to Bluray and am very pleased with it. I managed to video the mongoose which had captured a sand snake. I only took a few photos and so yours supplement my small number.
