Yes have also booked the Singapore add-on. I have been to Singapore years ago and have a friend (an ex-colleague) who keeps on asking when I will be back. So am really looking forward to this holiday as will get a chance to meet with Jenny. I too look forward to at last meeting you in person.

I received the new brochure today and could not resist booking Borneo for May next year! The itinerary looks so good that I decided to just go for it and worry later. Anyway, I think I am entitled to 3 good holidays next year since it is my big birthday - well this is the excuse I used to justify booking a 3rd long haul holiday. I am going to be financially ruined but am going to have such happy memories. Looking forward to meeting Hils and Kedi for the first time and Bob again.

New catalogue came in this morning. Just spent the last hour reading it. Have already booked the Dales and Bronte Country, the paperwork appeared today as well.

Andalucia's Golden Triangle and Picturesque Portugal both sound amazing, tick a few boxes on my To Do list.

Very interesting reply. I don't think you've grasped the point of what Julie was saying. I had an absolutely dreadful room in Omarama on my New Zealand tour last February. My pillows were stained and the duvet was very old, the bathroom was covered in dead flies and the floor was sticky... I took my bedding to reception and they were very apologetic.... and eventually changed my bedding along with 6 other rooms for people in our group. When we talked to our tour manager we were told that it was because "students" were changing the rooms and leave it with her... (Like that was our problem.. what a red herring...) Despite her telling another member or our group she would see me that evening, she didn't and I spent the night in a filthy room. I looked in several other rooms of our group and they were fine. I just got a bad one. Next morning (when nothing could be done!) the TM asked if everything was alright and of course as we were leaving nothing could be done..... lots of photos were taken but to be honest she should have sorted the problem the night before. ;..... and as with other trips we had a long explanation of why it was and we were given wine at our meal on the last evenings. So you can tell the TM but sometimes nothing happens.... if it happened again I would ring the office back in London. It really was a dreadful room in a dreadful hotel.

OMG - I too have downloaded the new Brochure... the new holidays look great. I love the look of the Picturesque Portugal and the Slovenia Alps to Adriatic ones... I'm even tempted by the Dales walking holiday. However I think the Untold Cambodia & Laos trip with the Vietnam add on will be my holiday of choice next year....

Just received my birthday present (the new JY brochure!!) - well done on some fantastic new tours (I'm already booked on 2 of them for next year!). One wee thing I notice on the website for the Borneo holiday, is a slight "spelling mistake" - I know this holiday is full-on but do we really have to "work" rather than "walk"!!!
