BosuncatIt's a great idea.  I couldn't go away last year with JY because of having an operation, and recovery from that.  So it has been actually 2018 since I have had any kind of holiday.   😞

I too think it's a shame that only UK walking holidays are offered.  The only thing I would say is that not everyone drives, so it would be nice to have the choice of somewhere that is easy access by train or National Express.

Personally?  Isle of Wight please!!  :D

Dear Bosuncat.

I wound also be interested in any u.k breaks, and I agree I don’t want a walking trip, but somewhere where we can be picked up for the journey, so we all meet on the bus. I have had many trips with just you holidays, starting from June 2013 to costa del la lux, then Canada and New England, fabulous, Croatia, Bulgaria, Boston and New York.

But at this time as we can’t go abroad would be nice to have a u.k. break.

I’m thinking of maybe going on the Oxford new year trip in December 2020.

I’d be interested in UK holidays later this year too, not far from London, cancelled my holiday on a cruise this year, not intending to go abroad at all in 2020, so let’s see what JY come up with that could persuade me to go away.
Hi JR...keep your eyes peeled, we are busy looking at what holidays we can offer post-Pandemic
I would be interested with trips in The U.K especially if there is anyway you could pick us up.

I totally agree . My trips have been cancelled this year so I have looked at UK holidays, but like you said, they are all walking holidays, which i'm not up to. Surely there must be places, i.e.Bournemouth or other cities that might include a theatre visit ,a zoo visit, or other attraction.

Fingers crossed !

As overseas travel is currently restricted and trips may not go ahead, Maybe Just You could consider running more trips within the UK.  All the current ones are "walking tours" which are not suitable or of interest to everyone.

A few suggestions would be short breaks to places like York, Warwick Castle, Cadbury World, Blackpool Lights, Stratford upon Avon, anything to do with steam trains, and when Scotland opens up, how about Edinburgh (to included the Zoo).

What do other Just You travellers think? would you be interested in a "staycation".  Maybe if enough people show an interest Just You might consider them for later this year and next.

Sounds good to me,  personally more of a seaside girl myself but an interesting idea

A staycation could be a lovely idea for the autumn especially involving steam trains! Norfolk is a thought as well with a boat trip. Best wishes in these “surreal times”.
Excellent idea, Sue, and your suggestions for such trips are good. I know this is probably a little niche and not everyone's cup of tea, but I would love a stargazing staycation in one of the dark skies areas of the UK. Possibly Brecon Beacons, Exmoor, Snowdonia, Kielder or South Downs.
