Hi Julie. Just seen your post and thought I’d say “ hello”. I’m a complete JY newbie. I lost my husband 3 months ago after 19 years together. We used to love travelling, but the thought of doing that alone is very scary. However after finding JY and seeing all the positive comments I decided to book 2 holidays for next year, and have just booked one of the New Year Breaks - I’ve booked London but see you have booked Oxford. The though of spending my first New Years Eve without my husband is awful, but doing it with others in a similar situation might make things easier. I just wondered if you had been on any of the New Year breaks before and, if so, how did you find them ? Someone said that the Oxford departure was guaranteed but I haven’t seen that for London. So, if my trip doesn’t go ahead, I may well transfer to Oxford. Anyway take care and look forward to hearing from you. Dave Hawkins.Hi Dave. Just thought I’d say, when this COVID madness is over and we can travel again don’t hesitate to join a JustYo trip! I did my first trip (Kenya) after losing my husband in 2009 and have travelled all over the world with them ever since. The groups and people are incredibly friendly and supportive. There hasn’t been a single trip I’ve been on that hasn’t been totally amazing and healing in every way. As soon as you’re able, just go for it you will never be sorry!!!Yes I’ve been to Swindon, Cheltenham, I had a fantastic time, lots of laughter, and dancing and eating and drinking. But I don’t think any of the new year breaks will be going ahead. I’m also widowed so I know how the first Christmas feels. I’m thinking in 2021 going to Spain for the Barcelona tour, and maybe in September going on the rockie mountaineer, then new year ?? Maybe meet up somewhere on our journeys. Merry Christmas and a happy new year Julie Lindau

Hi Dave.
I’ve been with JY many times, but not for the last 3 years, as I met someone, but sadly this didn’t work out. So I’m back on my own.
