Carry-on bag:

Your carry-on bag should fit in the overhead bin. The maximum dimensions for a carry-on bag are 9 inches x 14 inches x 22 inches (22 centimeters x 35 centimeters x 56 centimeters). This includes handles and wheels.

Personal item:

Your personal item should fit underneath the seat in front of you. The maximum dimensions for your personal item are 9 inches x 10 inches x 17 inches (22 centimeters x 25 centimeters x 43 centimeters).

You will also be able to take 1 medium / large suitcase which is to be checked in - we would advise no more than 20KG in the suitcase she is going to check in.

I am booked for New York Short City Break tour at the end  of March

Please could you advise me on the hand luggage requirements for United Airlines. I would like to know if I could take a flight bag and a handbag with personal items on the flight. Also maybe one medium or large luggage for check in.
