Having returned from my resent Highlights of Tuscany tour- A little review for those thinking of going- I’m glad I did this tour, it was a full-on active walking week visiting amazing historical sites, Florence, Pisa, Siena, Lucca etc.. A few members of our group found the amount of walking and steep slopes physically challenging. I enjoyed the Tuscan farm visit and the lovely meal they provided. The local restaurants in Montecatini are very reasonable and the food is of a very high standard, I enjoyed every meal. Montecatini is a great base and worth exploring. The hotel rooms are dated and tired but clean and comfortable of which you spend very little time.
