Yes please Vickie, just the main brochures none of the other stuff would help the environment in some small way!!..

I thought if we opted in we had to get everything

Cindy

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for the feedback. As you say, at the moment if you opt in for the brochure you automatically receive the other brochures as standard, but I'll pass these comments to the team.

We can remove you from our other mailing lists, so you just get the main brochure, but this will still be 3 times as year as that's when they go out. Would you like me to pass your details to the team so they can make this change?

Thanks,

Vickie

It’s a shame there isn’t some way we can just get the mail we require, I actually only need the main brochure once a year, for me I will never be going away over Christmas and new year (well, not unless I divorce my family) so I do not need any brochures for that, I do try and pass them on though.

Cindy

Good point Jonah and good JY response too.
Thanks Vickie

That is good to hear.

Regards

Chris

Hi Jonah,

Thank you for your message. The use of plastic is something that we are looking at very seriously throughout the business. As you have pointed out, our brochures are currently sent out in poly wrap which at the moment is not recyclable. We are speaking to the company that sends out our brochures and they are looking at alternatives which are more environmentally friendly.

We have made a number of changes recently, our marketing material is now mostly sent out in envelopes which, along with our brochures are made from paper from sustainable sources and all are 100% recyclable. Brochures that are requested on a daily basis by our customers are sent out in bags that are recyclable.

Thanks,

Vickie

I have just received my Festive Brochure, beautifully wrapped in a plastic wrapper.  I also recently received my National Trust magazine wrapped in a compostable potato starch wrapper.  In light of the concern about the effects of plastic on the environment will JY be following the NT lead?
