I only have the one travel adapter which is a multi one, and I have used it all over the world. In fact I now have 2 of them due to all the electrical stuff we have these days!

You can now buy power adapters from Amazon (and I presume other retailers) that can be...adapted... so they can fit into any socket into most regions of the world, and also adjusts to what you are plugging into it. You can even plug in multiple USB cables for ipads, cameras and phones etc into them, so you only ever need 1.

They are inexpensive and vary in colour and should last for a long time... as long as you don't plug in something like a shaver, hairdryer or kettle into them.

No i'm not a salesperson!, but I consider this an essential for when I travel now.

You could borrow an adapter from the hotels, most hotels are happy to give you one. You may have to give your card details, in case you don't give it back!

I went on this tour last October, loved and enjoyed NZ very much.

Hi Geoffrey,

You won't need a plug adaptor for Singapore, but you will in New Zealand. They have type 1, three 3 plug sockets.

Thanks,

Vickie
