I did this trip in June 2016 on board this boat.

To pay your account on board it was possible to pay by credit card or with Kuna and I think they even accepted Euros. I used Kuna to buy day to day needs when not on board, e.g. drinks, snacks, etc. The most expensive things for me were the dinners that were not included. We chose to eat in groups and the restaurant costs were similar to chain restaurants in UK.

I never found the need to get anymore Kuna in Croatia and it was easy to change back to Sterling in UK.

Hope this is of some help.

Hi GaynorB,

Since many of your meals and excursions will be included on this trip, I'd recommend taking enough cash to purchase anything else that you'd like to buy (e.g. on the cruise vessel a drinks tab will be set up for you and any drinks purchased on board can be paid for at the end of your cruise using your credit/debit card)

It is a good idea to obtain currency before you travel but your Tour Manager will help you to locate a cash machine if you need one. You may find that the local exchange rate is more favourable in Croatia than in the UK, although exchange rates are always subject to change.

I hope this helps, and have a great holiday.

Kindest Regards,

Amy

Hi. I’m booked on this trip on 24th May. I’m wondering how much cash to take with me. Wouldn’t worry me if it was euros but don’t want to purchase too many Croatian Kuna. Can you use a credit card to pay for any extras you might purchase onboard . Thanks in anticipation.
