Hi Faithful,As Iceland is an expensive destination, I would recommend taking enough money with you (perhaps on a credit card as these are widely used, but a debit card can still be used). Prices are advertised as being like London prices so budget with this in mind; however, in Iceland some UK banks require advance notice before allowing debit or credit cards to be used in Iceland.Icelandic Kronur are available through banks and cash machines. I hope this helps.Kindest Regards,Amy

Thanks Amy.
Am looking into getting a credit card.
Faithful
I am on the Icelandic trip in November and I am unsure of how much money I will need to bring. I understand that you cannot bring Krona back to the UK but have always used cash for holidays. Can you advise me on which travel card I should think of using.Having tried to search for information I am more confused than ever as to how they work for small purchases and what taxes and charges will be added on.
Many thanks
Faithful. :dodgy:
