Agree with Sarah, its not fair that UK customers cant get the holiday without the flight included whereas overseas customers can. There are a lot of JY holidays - both Europe and worldwide - I discount due to flight times, locations and airline used.

That's disappointing for UK based travellers who on many tours would prefer to travel from local airports.

So the team are trialling a "land-only" option with some customers travelling from Canada. Should this be successful, we hope to be able to learn from our new owners (G Adventures) about how we can roll this out to other non-UK based travellers. I must stress however, that it is at this stage a trial.

On another thread, a lady travelling from Canada is combining a pretour stay with family  in Rome  and a post tour visit to France. It appears that she is making her own travel arrangements.  Is this option only available to non UK clients?

I understood that JY won't offer "land only" prices, but your discussion appears to suggest this isn't the case.

Will JY offer "land only" holidays, meeting at the hotel or airport in the foreign country?

Thank you. Is it my imagination, or is it  now policy to shorten long haul tours.  Most seem to be twelve days or less often including a 5 or 6am arrival back in the UK as one day.
