Hi Rose,

There are now 12 travellers booked on this departure and it has been given the green light to go ahead.

Kindest regards,

Julia

P.S. You can ask as often as you like for updates - it's why we're here!

Good Afternoon Rose,

Standard passport pictures will be fine.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Rose,

It is no problem- ask as much as you need to.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Good Afternoon Rose,

There are currently 11 travellers booked on this tour.

You still have quite a bit of time so I am positive that it will get a green light.

Kind Regards,

Mildred.

I second the comment about shopping in Singapore airport.
Good Afternoon Westacott,

No it doesn't- we don't have a standard minimum group size. It varies with each tour.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Mildred, does that mean there is a minimum group size before the trip goes ahead?

Moderator2Good Morning Westacott,

The flight to Siem Reap isn't direct as there is a stopover in Singapore.

The provisional flight times are as follows;

Departing London Heathrow to Singapore- 11:25

Departing Singapore to Siem Reap- 13:50

In regards to the weather in November, Cambodia has a monsoon climate. Monsoon season runs May - November, meaning that the most pleasant season for you  is generally the dry season, stretching from November / December - April. Immediately after the monsoon, the blanketing green of the countryside can be stunningly beautiful.

We are able to organize the required visa but for more detailed information, please give us a call.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Mildred, thanks for the info. Looked up Singapore Airlines and the flying time Heathrow to Singapore is approx. 12.55 hours with about a 5 hour layover in Singapore before a further 2 hours 15 mins to Siem Reap, so quite a journey. However, from other reviews it seems possible to use an airport lounge in Singapore to relax so maybe not so bad. How many people are booked already and is there a maximum number ?

Carole

Hi Carole,

There are currently 8 travellers booked on this tour and we can take up to 30 people but it all depends on how many people book this holiday.

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Hi Westacott

I am going on this trip, the flight times on the latest documentation I've received  show a stop over of  5hrs in Singapore on the way and 2 hours on the return.

Friends of mine went on the same cruise but with another company  in early December 2015 and said that November/December are the best times to go as teh river levels are good and the weather is too and, as Mildred says, the greenery was stunning.  They had nothing but praise for the whole trip.

Selective Asia's web site says this about November :Cambodia is now entering the dry season meaning there will be almost no rain for the next six months, although the odd, short shower early in the month is not unusual. Comfortable temperatures (avg temp: 25 °C), low humidity and plenty of sunshine makes November a popular time to travel in Cambodia.

I hope you will join us!

Kind regards

Rose

Thanks for the info Rose, I really want to join the trip now! I have a few more things to check out and will make a decision in the next couple of days. Cheers.
