Thank you, but does that mean that the people previously booked on the holiday (8 plus at last count), into the Hotel Albatros, as previously shown are not moving to the Hotel Croatia, or is that a completely different holiday, and means that JY will have 2 hotels in Cavtat?  The website is very confusing at the moment.

Good Morning Bosuncat,

The Hotel Croatia Cavtat is a 5 star hotel which is located on a slope with stunning sea views. The hotel does have a buggy service which can busy at peak times, however we have an agreement with the hotel management that our customers will be given this service as a priory. The holiday has included excursions  and one optional excursion were customers will be taken to and from the hotel by coach each day. Therefore the opportunity to take the buggy to Cavtat is at the less busy times of the day and our Tour Manager is available to assist should there be any delays. The brochure does state the holiday includes walking in areas of rough ground, gradients and steps. We will advise any customers who have advised us they have any mobility limitations or require any assistance about the location prior to confirming a booking.

Kind Regards,

Mildred.

Thank you Mildred.  As you know I did the same trip in May of this year.  My intention on going back was not to do all the excursions, but to spend more time in Cavtat itself.  The reassurance on the golf buggies is very good.  Despite my slight limitations I managed very well in May, so I may reconsider.

What is the current number booked for May 7th departure please, and the limit on booking?

Hi Mildred.  I trust you do not mind me putting this on.  :)

I see that the Hotel Croatia is now showing as the new hotel in Cavtat, although the website is still being updated.  Lovely hotel, and congratulations to JY on the move.  :)

However.  And I presume, and that Customer Services are aware, that according to TA there are over 120 steps to negotiate on a steep slope from the hotel to actually get down into Cavtat itself, and subsequently back.  There is a golf buggy service provided by the hotel apparently but it is not 100% reliable.  I know that JY have the information up in reference to rough ground etc, which is great, but I feel that any potential customers ought to be aware.

I hope the new hotel works out for JY, sadly I won't be going back because of the issue with my mobility, and I hope you don't mind me mentioning it.  I don't want to put anyone off what is a great holiday with a wonderful itinerary, but feel that it ought to be taken into account.

Thank you.
