Hi I have booked on this trip 13th September! Also upgraded on train - looks fab! Any hints or tips from previous travellers on this trip?

I did this tour in 2011 (you'll have an amazing time!) and upgraded to Gold. We were certainly in a different hotel to the Red Leaf travellers in Kamloops (They didn't have Silver cars back then)  but I don't know if it was necessarily a higher 'star' rating. One difference was that the Gold travellers had their suitcases delivered to our rooms on the night of the stop over, whereas the Red travellers had to take an overnight bag because their suitcases were taken straight to the final destination (Vancouver or Jasper depending on which direction the tour is going)

At the moment there are 16 travellers booked on this tour with 24 places still available. The group is made up of 2 men and 14 women with ages from early-50s through to early-70s.

If you upgrade to gold on the rocky moutaineerer does that also include a upgrade in the hotel room  used midway on the journey.                                                                                                Could you also tell me how many so far are booked for the 13th sept and  how many spaces are left also how many women and men and their age range so far, thank you.
