Sorry about that, but as I live near Gatwick I only pick holidays that go from there !

I agree with Jonah. I live in Scotland and would only be interested in a short break if local departures were available.

Having recently watched 'Rick Stein's Long Weekends' on BBC2 - a culinary travel series,this time visiting Bologna in Italy.. I wondered if JY could do something along these lines. The food looked terrific so maybe something similar to the Bordeaux Gourmet break.  And preferably flying from Gatwick. my local airport!
