Hi Taffy,

The (very!!) provisional fight times for November from Heathrow are as follows:

You'll depart Heathrow at 22:10 and arrive at São Paulo–Guarulhos Airport at 06:00. On your return journey, you will depart São Paulo–Guarulhos Airport at 23:45 and arrive back at Heathrow at 15:10.

Kindest regards,

Monty

Hi Taffy

I can help if you are looking at the November date - departure from Heathrow Mon 13th at 2210hrs and arrival back (if you are doing the Easter Island extension) is on Sat 2nd Dec at 1510hrs so those flight times should be good for you getting a coach to and from home.  Of course I wouldn't put any pressure on you but it would be great if you decide to join us.

Hi Sally

That's exactly the info I was looking for so thanks for that. Ideal flight times for me. Need to make a decision now. The holiday does look really good and it would be lovely to have your company again.

Hi

I know it is very early days and reading some of the other posts you may not be able to answer this question but can you give a rough idea of flight times?

Very interested in this holiday, just trying to decide what to do.

Thanks,

Taffy

Hi Julia/Monty,

Thanks for the Tibet information, as this is yet another tour I'd like to do over the next couple of years.  Regarding the Tibet permission - how would this work with my Irish passport?  When I did Inspirational China two years ago, I got my own visa in Dublin (as you know JY generally can't get visas for me).  So in this instance, would I get my own visa as before and then when I receive it, give JY the details so they can get the local agents to apply for the permission for Tibet for me along with the rest of the group?

Apologies for my awkward geographical location!!

All the best,

Bob

Hi Bob,

I have spoken with our visa team and unfortunately we can't process visas for travellers who live outside of the UK, due to the posting of your passport. This does mean you will have to get the visa yourself and will send you an itinerary for you to do so.

Once you have your China visa, we will need a copy of your passport and visa to send our agents so they can process the Tibet permission for the group.

I hope this is helpful.

Kindest regards,

Monty

Hi Trish

I am sure that by the time your holiday comes around all details will have been sorted out and you will not have to swim to the Easter Island! I definitely want to do this tour but will not be able to do so next year. Hopefully in 2018 if it is still on offer. I hope you will write a review on your return so I know what to expect when I go.

Regards

Jaya

Hi Trish

I have booked this trip for next November and have raised all the issues you mentioned with the office. I must admit to being very surprised to see so many errors on just a three page document. Hopefully we will be sent revised versions.

Hi Mike,

At the moment we are still confirming all the hotels to be used on this tour.  However, Vai Moana is the hotel that we are likely to use at the moment. As always, all hotels will be confirmed in your final paperwork.

Sorry not to be more specific, I will hopefully be able to provide more in depth information shortly.

Kindest regards,

Monty

PS Bob I have not forgotten about your question - I am just waiting to hear back from our Visa team.

I booked this tour for October 2017 on Friday (my working life always required a long period of holiday preplanning/booking and recently retired I haven't got out of that mindset yet!) and the emailed paper work frankly confused me so i am glad you haven't finalised details of the extension yet. The main tour details appear fine but I have no idea how I get to Easter island (no flight listed so perhaps I swim?) though I do fly back. The hotel listed for Easter island is the Vai Moana but I appear to be booked in to stay when I am (according to the provisional flight details) en route home. Look forward to you providing more in depth info as you have it

Trish
