I've managed to get my connecting flight tickets from Newcastle to Heathrow and back booked myself for £136 so I no longer require a call back from JY to book them.

I am kind of envious!

I've booked the Istrian Coast tour for 21st September, though there was some confusion over connecting flights as the operator seems to think I may need an overnight hotel stay, despite me wanting to get the 6am flight from Newcastle - getting in at 07:20, and my departing flight from Heathrow isn't til 11:50 - which I think is plenty of time to collect my luggage, get from T5 and check-in for the Croatian flight? I was quoted a price from £169, but I can get them for £146 so I'm waiting for a call back about them before deciding whether to book them through JY or get them myself. I don't mind JY taking their cut, but not if its an excessive amount. Hopefully I'll get my booking finalised today. I have all my documents via e-mail so that's much better than waiting for them to arrive through the post ?.

On the 5th October there are only 3 travellers booked at the moment and for the 21st September, there are now 10 travellers booked. I can confirm that the provisional flight times are the same for both dates.

You are on the mailing list, so hold tight because Mr/Mrs Postman will be delivering it very soon.

Could you also let me know how many are booked on the tour departing on 5th October as it will be either this date or 21st September I will be booking. I presume the flight times from and to Heathrow will be the same as these are good for me as I can get connecting flights on the day, without needing any overnight hotel stays.

I am not looking forward to my early start on Sunday 😞 and I'm starting to have a little panic about the packing, especially as the weather looks a little wet for our first few days!! Usually I take everything but the kitchen sink with me... but this time because we are using easyjet I need to pack light to make room for the case full of souvenirs I hope to bring back. See you all at the resort on Sunday.

I am busy getting everything done because of the very early start on Sunday morning, but packing will have to wait until tomorrow.  It's impossible to do that whilst the cats are here.  They have freaked out enough seeing my suitcase! :s

I think I will be booking this on my return from next week's tour so I will be asking questions next week when I meet you Bosuncat, thanks. I'll be posting reviews for both tours as well.
