I went to same hotel last year and no one was sick, its fine, just go and enjoy your holiday.

I have done this trip and we had no problems at all.  The hotel is lovely.  Sometimes illnesses like this can be spread by humans if their hygiene is not good and they already have the bug.  I would not let this incidents put you off as this is a lovely holiday.  When I went my immune system was not strong due to having finished cancer treatment, but I had no problems at all.

Unfortunately, a couple of our customers on the Costa de la Luz in September did report an illness. I would like to clarify, that it is a viral illness, so that, there are no hygiene food reasons. The local authority and our health and safety team have been working closely with the hotel to resolve the issue. They have made very effort to try and contain it by daily deep cleaning and disinfection. There have been no further illness reports, so we are reasonably confident it was contained quite quickly.

   l am going to Costa de la Luz May 17th, l am concerned about the reviews l have read on JY about     Sickness bug at the hotel on several occasions. l am worried because when l am sick l pass out so as you  can imagine l avoid it like the plague. l wondered if you would have any info wether it's the food?
