Sally
Sally this really made me laugh out loud...I work in a very quiet environment so my snort of laughter caused a few people to jump lol 😃
Many thanks for your reply. I think I confused myself when I was writing my post! So if I apply at the beginning of December, even if it is issued promptly (Trailfinders will have to send it off to the Embassy in London in any case), it would still be valid until early March. Seeing as I get back before the end of February (I'm not doing the add-on) then that should be fine! Here's hoping it doesn't get lost in the system in the chaos of Christmas!! It's always a scary thing to be sending your passport away....
Best wishes,
Bob
I totally understand what you're trying to say. I am afraid, that as you live outside of the UK we are unable to arrange your visa so we recommend you contact your closest embassy, consulate or high commission for advice.
We would always recommend that your visa is valid for the whole trip - there would be nothing worse than getting in to trouble whilst on holiday. The visa is valid for 3 months from the date it’s applied for, so you could apply for it mid-December if that would be your preferred option. We can't say what Trailfinders process is when it comes to visa's so it might also be worthwhile having a chat with them too.
SarahS - Sorry I did mean "before" your trip.
I hope this helps.
Kindest regards,
Monty
Ha Ha, That's very good Sally - I guess that I deserved that!
Cheers
Only four places left on the main tour now! Not sure how many are left for the add-on. Glad I booked when I did - last Friday there were 10 places left!
Cheers,
Many thanks,
PS Typing this post was made a lot more difficult because there is currently a time delay between what I type and it appearing on the screen! I noticed this the other day when I was typing the Mexico review but haven't seen it since - I wonder has anyone else had this problem?
The visa will not be digital, so it will be put in your passport and will be individual. This means that we will send your passport off to the Embassy in London which takes around 21 days, depending on when we catch the post. However, visas are only valid for 3 months so we can’t apply for the visa until 3 months after the return date of the holiday, otherwise it would not be valid for the trip.
I hope this makes sense.
