Hi Julie L,

Meals in Croatia vary in price depending on location & quality. As a guide, meals and drinks are generally priced a little lower than you would expect find at equivalent standard in the UK - as a rough approximation it will cost around 12€ / 90 Kuna for a single course lunch with a glass of wine.

As a rough guide for Cafes & restaurants:

A beer – 15-20 Kuna

A Wine – 15-25 Kuna

A plate of Pasta – 45 Kuna

A pizza – 45 Kuna

A plate of fresh fish and side salad – 50-70 Kuna

In regards to the currency, Kuna is the currency of Croatia and the preferred choice of payment, whilst debit/Credit cards are widely accepted. Also, the use of Euros is not prohibited.

Kind regards,

Monty
