On the Heart and Soul trip last November, most American hotels, restaurants etc did not allow E cigarettes in the public areas, saw many people standing outside. New Orleans back in 2008 saw me standing outside bars listening to music on Bourbon Street as they still allowed smoking :dodgy:

You will receive more information when you get your paperwork through. However, for a quick overview - California is now the leading state on the subject of Antismoking Laws. The majority of hotels in California are now non-smoking and those hotels that still have smoking rooms only have a few, so it may not be possible to have a smoking room.
In regards to e-cigarettes, it is worth checking the following website for further information on individual country restrictions:
http://www.ecigarette-politics.com/electronic-cigarettes-global-legal-status.html
Please note the use of Electronic Cigarettes is not permitted on any of our coaches and they are currently not permitted on flights - please check the airline website before travel for the most up to date information.
Kindest Regards,
Monty
I've booked a holiday for Route 66 in September I am a smoker. I was wondering what are rules on smoking I will also be brining e-cigarette's.
