I've just spoken to our overseas team. Depending on who you are paying (our overseas agent or the Tour Manager) depends on which currency to pay with. On the 29th September you will be able to pay the Tour Manager therefore £sterling can be used.

Remember the Zambia currency is a closed currency so you will be unable to obtain this before you travel. The tour manager will be able to show you where to exchange this in resort. BUT also remember you will need $US for your Zambia Visa.

Sorry to bother you again - regarding how to pay for the optional trips in Zambia, when I queried which money to take back in July you said the excursions needed to be paid for in local currency; however the tour manager going on the 15th September says she takes sterling from her clients for the trips - which is correct as I am going on 29th September and need to know how much of each currency I need. Many thanks for your help. Jill
