To Mark and Gwyn,

I was on the Verona trip 3 years ago. We saw Aida and it was spectacular. Remember a cusion, the stone seats are very uncomfortable. In the dark at the end be careful climbing down to get out as the steps are very worn. We lost one lady who got on the wrong coach, look at your number on the coach- there are loads of them 🙂

Finally enjoy- you will never experience something as good as this

I'm SO excited about this! Right now I'm exhausted after another stupidly busy week, can't wait to get to Italy with a bunch of friends I haven't yet made!

The opera will be amazing, I'm sure. I'm not what you'd call an opera buff, but I do go a couple of times a year. Also looking forward just to being on the lake and generally chilling. See you all soon!

Hi Mark,

Not a stupid question at all!

There is no strict dress code for this although it is recommended that you dress appropriate for a "theatre venue". It is an evening/nighttime performance so we would recommend that you take a jumper/cardigan as it is likely to be quite cool as the evening draws on.

Your luggage labels and final information documentation has been sent out in today's post (exciting), so will be with you some time next week!

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia,

Stupid question, but what is the dress code for the Verona Opera Festival?

Ive never been to one before but i don't know whether the opera is in the day, night or whether there is a strict dress code.

Also, when are JY going to send out luggage labels/final details? Only three weeks to go!

Mark
