Thanks Julie,

I had a phone call from JY sales IMTEL, who answered all my concerns about the hotel. Very good response, and I booked with him. Looking forward to it and meeting my new fellow travellers.

Thanks again for all your help.

Hi Freda,

Great news! I hope you have a wonderful time in Lake Garda.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner about your previous inquiry - my colleague has come back and informed me that if you are concerned, we can make requests with the hotel about getting a ground floor room but these are not always guaranteed.

Again, I hope you want to have a wonderful trip.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia,

Well I have done it!! Just booked for Lake Garda for 9 September 14 from Manchester.

Looking forward to meeting my fellow travelers. Bit nervous now, but looking forward to it.

Hi Travellers,

Has anyone been to the Hotel Villa Montefiore yet on the Lake Garda Holiday? Would be intersted in any

feed back on it?

Thanks

Hi Julia,

Just book looking at the new Hotel you quoted. A little concerned about some of the reviews which say that some rooms and situated away from the hotel main block, with lots of steps which are badly lit which is not good for more elderly guests at night. Also some rooms have only bath, not showers which would be a concern to me.

Do JY have room reservations within the hotel, or is it pot-luck? Other than that it looks great.

I note that the hotel on your on line booking (which I used) is still advertised as Hotel Santa Giulia?

Thanks

Freda M

Hi Freda,

Yes, the hotel change is for future departures and is the hotel featured in the most recent Just You brochure which was sent out last week.

Kindest regards,

Julia

HI Julia,

Many thanks for the information on hotel change. Is this hotel change apply to 16th Sept. also, and rest of season.

Hi Freda Margaret,

For the 9th September, there are 14 travellers booked to travel, again with 2 booked to fly from Manchester.

The arrangements would be the same, so an Airport Representative would be at Manchester to see you through check in and one of our local agents would meet you in Milan.

As for upgrading your room, due to contractual reasons the hotel for this trip has changed and is now the Hotel Villa Montefiori. This is a charming 4* hotel in the resort of Gardone Riviera. Facilities include a restaurant with lake view, pretty gardens, outdoor and indoor pools. Bedrooms offer views over the lake and features private facilities with Air conditioning, hairdryer, TV and safe.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Thanks Julie for your reply. I was actually thinking of going on 9th Sept, not 16th, but I expect details are the same for Lake Garda trip?

It does help to know someone will be at the Man airport to help travellers.

Been looking at hotel details, is it worth up grading to superior room? I understand this is £35 for the week. Sorry to be such a wuss!

Hi Freda Margaret,

First of all welcome to the Just You Community and what a great trip to consider as your first Just You experience!

In September you'll find the weather warm but not too hot with highs during the day around 24 degrees. Weather permitting (you may experience a bit of rain) it should be warm enough for you to swim in the outdoor pool.

Travelling from Manchester, the airline we have listed is Flybe and you will fly into Milan.

The Tour Manager either meets travellers at the main departure airport or in resort, but there will be a Just You airport representative at Manchester to see you through check-in and one of our local agents would meet you in Milan and transfer you to the hotel.

I can see from the bookings to date that there are 2 travellers flying from Manchester, so if you do choose to book this holiday - make sure you put your Just You luggage labels on your hand luggage so that your fellow travellers can spot you!

I hope this information helps, and if I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Kindest regards,

Julia
