Thank you for offering to look into it for me.
I believe that my friend spoke to customer services today and was advised that this was due to a block booking of seats being made by Travelsphere but I do not understand how this removes the option for us to book online in advance (unless it restricts our choice of seats from the outset). I would appreciate it if you could please find out and explain further. I cannot see anything on the KLM website advising of any online booking restrictions due to this. With the flight being 12.5 hours duration it would certainly be preferable to have a good choice of seats as early as possible!

If we do have to book the flights at the airport can you please advise as to whether we can book both the UK to Amsterdam and also the Amsterdam to Peru flights from Durham Tees Valley or do we have to book the second leg of the journey when we reach Amsterdam.
