Hi Sue,

I've just taken the following information from our brochure (and also requested that it gets put on the website for other customers' reference)

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

Each booking must be accompanied by a deposit payment and the appropriate insurance premium. In most cases we will charge the following deposit (per person):

- European holidays by air - £170

- River holidays - £200 or 10% whichever is the greater

- Worldwide holidays - £250 or 10% whichever is the greater

- Ocean Cruises - £250 or 10% whichever is the greater

On some holidays we may charge a slightly higher deposit, to cover any costs we have to pay immediately to secure your booking with our suppliers. This will be mentioned at the time of booking.

You can use your debit or credit card to confirm your booking instantly. We will send confirmation of your booking in the post within a couple of days – it’s that easy.

All major credit cards are accepted and there is no charge for paying by debit card. Please note: A 2% handling fee will be charged on any deposit and balance payments made by credit/charge card.

A £10 administration charge is made for all payments received by cheques.

A confirmation invoice will be sent to you within 7 days of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 12 weeks before departure (20 weeks before departure for cruise holidays). The payment deadline will be clearly marked on your confirmation invoice.

So to cut an incredibly long answer short, you would need to pay either £250 or 10% whichever is greater.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Julia, Is there a standard percent deposit required for all holidays? I couldn't find anything on the website and I'd be interested to know how much deposit I would have to pay if I booked the US National Parks tour in Nov 2014 (departing May 2015 - assuming there will be a tour on that date!). Thx Sue
