Thanks for the info Julia. I have spoken to Travelsphere and booked another holiday (to Istanbul, Troy and Ephesus) which I am assured has been cleared to go already. I didn't ask why, so it's good to know the reason behind the cancellation.

That is the second time in 2 years my chosen holiday has been cancelled. Let's hope I choose more wisely next year :)

it is so disappointing when a holiday gets cancelled, I was book a few years ago now to go to Australia and that happened...but rest assured that's the only one of ten JY tours that I have been on that it's happened to...let's hope you can go sometime.

Sorry for the delay in coming back to you on this one I needed to check a few details with my colleagues.

So, I understand that there were due to be flight schedule changes and that these changes would have impacted on the planned itinerary. As such, all except the May date of this tour have been cancelled for 2014.

I was a bit worried about being the only single, so it is a relief to know that I won't be the only one. Assuming there will be enough bookings for the tour to go ahead :)
