Hi Bob,

For a new tour, not bad. Its still early days as well so it will be interesting to monitor over the next few months.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Those optionals for the Cancun add-on sound very intruiging!! This is a tour I have my eye on for a year or two down the road, so hope it continues to be offered. What's the take up rate on the three dates like so far Julia?

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Traveller42,

Please take a look below at the excursions that may be on offer for this trip...

Carnival Cruise

The Hottest Caribbean Party at Cancun! Get on board the Caribbean Carnival party cruise that departs from Cancun and sails to Isla Mujeres. Enjoy our Private Beach Club highlighted by lively music, amusing contests, a delicious buffet and dazzling shows decorated by the sassy soul of Latin America cultures. This family tour is about dancing and having fun while our friendly staff of dancers, waiters, hosts and crew provide you with an unforgettable colourful night.

Exciting entertainment - Minimal Walking

Isla Mujeres

Enjoy a day full of adventure and fun at Isla Mujeres, a beautiful island in the Caribbean Sea facing the coast of Cancun. Feel the breeze at the rhythm of live tropical music on board our double-decker boat. You will sail to Isla Mujeres where you’ll spend a great time at the paradise beach club, El Pescador. This is an ideal spot for relaxing in a hammock listening to the sound of the ocean whisper, or why not rest on a comfortable lounger enjoying a frosty tropical cocktail. Try a waterslide, snorkelling and kayaking in the Caribbean Sea.

Full Day - Relaxing & Fun - Minimal Walking

Tulum & Xel Ha

Combine Mayan history at Tulum and the natural beauty of Xel-ha on this full day excursion. Tulum is the only archaeological sight in the area overlooking the ocean and is believed to have been the largest port for the Mayans. As well as being the only Mayan city built on a coast, Tulum was one of the few protected by a wall. Tulum remains popular because of its elegant setting on sheer limestone cliffs above the turquoise splendour of the crashing Caribbean. While here enjoy a guided visit around the ruins and take your bathing suit as you will find secluded stretches of the Caribbean, perfect for both swimming and reflecting on the ruins. You will also visit one of Mexico's natural wonders, Xel Ha. This is an official centre for nature protection and specializes in caring for endangered species. At Xel Ha you will see grottos, Mayan walls, jungle trails, chacah gardens, cenotes, river tours, the amazing floating bridge, the unique Salpichanga rope, a great zip line over the water, the Mo´s flight, the mystic caves, take a bike ride, or relax in the Hammock island. You can also learn about the flora or visit the Snail sanctuary.

Full Day - Not to be Missed - Moderate Walking

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hi Traveller42,

Thanks for your question, we are compiling all the details of these optional excursions and will let you know (here) as soon as we have them.

Hi,

The brochure mentions that the Cancun add-on for the Mexico holiday has "a range of optional excursions" available. Do you have any information on these?

Also, if anyone has been to Mexico in October, what was the weather like?

Thanks!
