Hi Lynne,As Julia said in her reply, although there are no in-room safes the hotel has a safe deposit system which is secure and works very well. They do charge for the beach towels, it is basically a laundry charge so for the sake of a few euros it's definitely not worth taking your own! Save the space for other things :)Happy Travelling,Sarah
Hi Lynne,
As Julia said in her reply, although there are no in-room safes the hotel has a safe deposit system which is secure and works very well.
They do charge for the beach towels, it is basically a laundry charge so for the sake of a few euros it's definitely not worth taking your own! Save the space for other things :)
Happy Travelling,
Sarah
Thanks, Sarah and Julia
I'm going to take your advice, Sarah, and splurge on towel rental when I get there. Assuming the weather is warm enough, of course. Won't be the first time I've swum in the rain! Maybe there'll be some nice local produce I can fill the case with on the way home!
Best wishes
Lynne
I can try... I understand that the hotel doesn't have in room safes but there is a safety deposit facility available to guests. I have also been informed that the hotel doesn't provide beach towels but guests can rent one for approx. 5 euros.
Kindest regards,
Julia
I wondered if you could answer a couple of questions for me. Does this hotel have in-room safes? And does the hotel provide beach towels? It's been a while since I had to pack one of those and the literature on Italy you provided says that many Italian hotels don't provide them. I HAD hoped to travel light, but if I have to add a bulky towel, I'll probably have to take a larger suitcase!
Best wishes,
