Hello,

I have just done Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and my daughter and I saw so many rides by doing the single riders. Each one was no more than 15 minutes whilst the queue was over an hour. Armed with a map of the Studos it was easy to plan what we wanted to go on. Bags are left in lockers as you go around.

Not sure how the West Coast studios work but are probably similar.

Have fun

Hi All

Thanks very much - Waterworld added to the agenda - have just been watching a bit of the show on Youtube and it looks great - see what you mean about sitting too near the front!

Definitely a good idea to got to waterworld!
yes agree forgot to mention waterworld it was quite spectacular mind they've prob updated the show since i was there back in 2000

Hi ~ to reiterate what Sue said, do make sure you see the Waterworld show, but DON'T sit in the front rows ~ you'll get soaked.

When we went to see it, two of the performers were actually from CSI Las Vegas, my very favourite CSI show, so that was a plus bonus for us.

Have fun.

Hi All

Thanks very much for your reassurance - and top tips on eateries - will ensure elasticated waist skirts are high on my list of packing priorities! You've sold the excursion extremely well - will book it tomorrow.:D

Hi BristolBarb, just thought I'd offer you a tip. Make sure you see 'Waterworld'! Apparently it is fantastic but I got my timings wrong and by the time I decided to go see it I found I would have to be back on the coach before the 'Next Show Start Time' so I had to miss it!!! Sue

did the tour a few years ago and though six hours doesn't seem much its not quite like disney and is plenty of time to get round everything, do the tram tour fist as i recall that took about 45 mins to complete

Afternoon BristolBarb.

I quite agree with the comments re. Universal Studios. The tour is a "not to be missed" experience. You'll love it.

Also, at the Farmers Market, do try the pancakes. However, be warned, if you do queue for a meal, take care because the price quoted is just for the meal itself. If you are asked "would you like........with that?", the price rockets!!

Enjoy your trip.
