I have been on the Douro cruise and loved it so much I am going on the Gems of Andalucia one in March, both run by Croisi Europe who were marvellous. I look forward to hearing more about any new river cruises in the not to distant future, I hope.

Pat.

I went on the Venetian river cruise three years ago and enjoyed it so much I booked the Duoru cruise as soon as I got back. Many people were on the Venetian one because they had enjoyed the Duoru.

I was one of the people who asked for more river cruises and will be going on the Spanish river cruise this year, having been too late last year with all places already taken.

I would love to see more destinations for this type of holiday, and look forward to having details as soon as they are available.

I enjoyed the cruise in Venice last year & have booked the Douro cruise this year so I would be interested in another one next summer.I'd prefer the Rhone as I did the Postcards from Provence tour with JY & love the area.

Thanks

Good afternoon everyone,

I really appreciate and thankyou all for your replies as do the business as a whole, I will keep you informed of any developments.

Hello Ben

I have responded already saying I would be interested and have since read subsequent posts from others. I have always wanted to do a river cruise but have been put off because of the cost and also the real possibility of travelling with couples and feeling a bit left out. A dedicated JY cruise would address at least the second of my worries. River cruising appeals to me because you are in a different place every day, but, unlike sea cruising, there is always something to see as you go along. I imagine it would be like sitting in a cafe watching the world go by, only the 'world' is everchanging. The fact that you are constantly on the move will inevitably increase the cost of these holidays but price would certainly be a factor for me. I think the cruiser would dock in places where it would be easy to get off and wander around on your own (or with other passengers) but if this was not the case, then the cost of excursions at each port of call may make the trip too expensive. However travelling along the river would be like an excursion every day!

Hi Ben

The river cruises sound good but the all inclusive 8 days to Halkidiki for around £900 makes the price of these cruises look excessive especially as all the sightseeing trips are extra.

I love river cruising so would jump at the chance to go on one with Just You - make it in the school holidays please so we teachers can join the fun!! No need to have to excuse that August flights are too expensive as the link refers to Eurostar as a travel option!!

I love the idea of a dedicated JY river cruise as the only negative comments I've heard about the current cruises relates to other groups on board.

Like an earlier poster, I really hope you will arrange this in the school holidays .... otherwise, as they say od Dragons Den, I'm out!

Good morning everyone,

Due to the success of tours created from community feedback such as Route 66, the one off tours we are currently offering and Florida, our product department genuinely turn to our community for inspiration.

There has been a huge amount of interest in river cruising from Just You customers in the past, and we are looking to release a dedicated Just You river cruise tour date on the wonderful MS Serenade 1 subject to interest.

We would love to know your thoughts on whether this would be a tour you would like to see offered by Just You and which particular tour would tick all your boxes, you can view a selection of them here -

You can once again email me personally to register your interest on the address below and I will send out an email with the details once they are confirmed.

Happy New Year everyone,

Kindest,

It is not something which appeals to me. I prefer a resort holiday so that I can walk around and get a real feel of a place, meet the locals etc. As mentioned by another contributor, it is also rather expensive for many pockets, although is probably value for money for those who like pampering and attention. I do feel it may be more suited to couples than singles, as the environment seems a little too cosy for my liking - nowhere to escape and be alone.

Thanks Bob. I am positive that I will be fine with a river cruise and am really looking forward to my holiday. Do let me have any tips or suggestions - you are bound to have plenty since you have been twice to Egypt!
