Hope you're well, it really all depends on when you want to travel, it's great your doing some research on the best times of year to travel, it definitely helps with the decision making! To answer your question, you will be fine booking after Christmas, there are spaces left.
In regards to plug adapters, we advises that the standard voltage in Thailand is 220 volts AC and recommend that you take an international plug adaptor, something like this:

Please note that travel electrical equipment such as kettles or irons should not be used in your hotel room as they can be a fire hazard.

Just wondering if you know how many people are going to Thailand on Thu 25 Apr 2013 as doing my research it looks a better time to go then Sept but only a few months away now is it filling up fast.

also do you know which plugs to use for the hotels flat prongs like USA or round two pin like Europe ?
