Val,

If this is the Golden West holiday, San Fran should be Mild to warm during the day and no lower than cool (coat/fleece) in the evening, it never gets really cold at any time.

From then onwards it will just get hotter with each place you visit.

Hi Mick,

First of all, nice to meet you.

Yes it's the Golden West I'm looking at, still thinking though...nerves!

Thank you for letting me know about the weather.

Good morning Val,

As much as I'd like to be able to give you a firm answer, unfortunately, I cannot guarantee the weather, however, there's plenty of fellow travellers on the forum who may be able to offer some advice and there are also plenty of websites out there, this one had a good breakdown of the west coast of California,

I hope this helps,

Thank you Ben, the site was very helpful.

Now I'll just have to overcome the nerves!
