The voltage in Brazil is 220 volts, plugs are two pin, the voltage in Chile and Argentina is 220 volts, three pin plugs are used. An international adapter plug is recommended.
I hope this helps,
Kindest,
Ben
Waiting in anticipation,
Best wishes,

All the best,
OH well it was worth a try, I would say the one I have is defantly not flimsy very sturdy in fact. It has seen me well over the years, you could always risk it and then just ask at the reception in the hotels if they can help you out it depends what you need it for?. I have shared hairdryers with other ladies and irons etc and even phone chargers, so sharing works as well.
GOOD LUCK let's hope BEN!! can give you an answer
Cindy
(By the way Cindy if you're reading this, I did look into universal adaptors on Amazon and all the ones listed did not work in some countries and had some bad reviews that they were flimsy or didn't work etc so now I don't know what to do for the best!)
Cheers,
