Hi Beesky

Thank you for your reply. Now we know the reason for the bin bags.

Cheers

Peter

The bin liners come in very handy when leaving Beijing for Xi'an as you can leave dirty laundry and purchases etc at the Beijing Hotel to collect on your lat night. They store your items in a locked room. Saves you lugging around things you won't need til your flight home.
Hello Norenn

I wish I knew the answer to the BLACK BIN QUESTION. All I can tell you is that a Tour Manager who has done China several times recommends it. I will take 2 just in case I have overlooked an obvious reason, and they will take up no room anyway. I have found a holdall that folds down very small (when it is still in its plastic bag). That seems to me to solve the luggage problem. There have been several threads about the luggage lately and the more I read them the more confused I get. Never mind, I'm sure 'It'll be alright on the Night'

Best wishes

Peter

I sent a reply to you but it seems to have got lost in space. My doctor told me that I had to have the following

Hepatitis A

Typhoid

Tetanus Booster

It was not necessary to take Malaria Tablets as I was going to the tourist areas and not to remote areas. The jabs cost me £91.00 but I have a different health service to you, and you shouldn't have to pay anywhere near this because in Jersey you have to pay for the Doctors Consultation.

See you on the 12th in the exec lounge.

Hello Noreen

Our flight to China departs at 20.25. JY recommend that long haul customers arrive 4 hours before departure. Therefore I suggest that you aim to be at Heathrow no later than 15.30. This is to allow for possible traffic congestion/jams on the M23 and M25. At Heathrow you need to get off at the Central Bus Station which covers Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

I am staying at Gatwick the night before and travelling up on the 12th. I fly into Gatwick with BA and they give me a voucher for an open return ticket on National Express between Gatwick and Heathrow.

Only 55 days to go.

Peter

Hello Peter, I am also travelling with National Express ,I am travelling from Brighton so I think it's a direct journey to Heathrow ,I will make sure I leave plenty of time ,I know what the M25 can be like.I'm hoping to get some info soon from JY ,getting excited now ,are you taking Malaria tablets ?look forward to meeting on the 12 Sept.
