Hi Mick

Personally I see the flights as part of the holiday as I really enjoy flying. As you say, it's always possible to count up the number of hotel nights if that's how you prefer to measure the length of a holiday.

But I do understand what you are saying - I will pass yours and Debbie's comments on to my colleagues here.

Kind regards

Hi Olly,

Got to take Debbies side on this one, it always gets me why holidays are advertised as "x" number of days when I actually count the nights we are in our hotel and not travel only days.

Saying that virtually all companies do the same so its not unexpected, so just work it out before booking.

It would be much clearer to say its a 14night holiday instead of 16days or at least only count the days you are actually in your destination (15 in this case).

Mick

Hi Debbie

It isn't possible to advertise this as a 15-day holiday because it runs for 16 days (even if day 16 is relatively short) and some people might make arrangements to travel home a day before their flight landed.

The brochure and website both say that you will fly overnight and arrive back in the UK on day 16 so I don't think we could have been any clearer.

Bear in mind that the difference in time zones gives you a much longer day 1 (five hours extra), so what you lose on day 16 you gain on day 1!

Olly,

I hardly class landing back in the UK at 8.45am on the 16th day of the holiday a FULL 16 days, but I guess under trades description you are not breaking any rules...good for you!

Hi Debbie

I can confirm that you do get back to the UK on Oct 16, so it is the full 16 days.

You fly from Havana on 15 Oct at 19.10 and arrive at Gatwick the next day, at around 08.45.

Hi

Could you please confirm the exact date that we land back at Gatwick on the Cuba tour that departs 1st October 2012, on the itinerary it states day 15-16 traveling back to uk arriving the next day. I have had my invoice & details, but that states we land in Gatwick on the 15th. If that is the case then it is hardly a 16 day holiday is it.

Hi Debbie,

Sadly it's not a mistake on the website. A couple of the early 2012 dates have sold out and we have had to cancel some of the other dates for operational reasons.

If you are still looking at this tour but perhaps on a different date there is still availability on our October departures.

Kind regards

Julia

Thanks Julia, I have now booked on the 1st october departure date.......let's hope that dosent all go pear shaped!!

Debbie

I have the new brochure & wanted to book the Cuba departure for 2nd September 2012, I spoke to someone either last week or the week before & the holiday was available yet on your web page hardly any of the dates tally with the brochure is this a mistake on your webpage?

Thanks
