Hi Anne-Marie

I've copied the information below from the latest final information documents for this holiday. As you can see, you will be based in a comfortable jungle Lodge in Iquitos, eastern Peru.

I hope this answers your questions.

Kind regards

Olly, your editor

There is no electricity in the rooms or hot water, anything electrical can be charged up between the evening meal times at the restaurant only.

Your local GP will probably advise you to be innoculated against Yellow Fever and Malaria. Please speak to you doctor for advice.

I've went on my 1st JY trip this year to America's National Parks, Canyons and Little Bighorn in May this year and I was so impressed. I am now researching Peru. This holiday has an 'Add-On'. However, when I check the itinerary, there's not much info given about the 'Add-On' - just "Day 10 - 13 : River Amazon Add-on - We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to experience the heart of the Peruvian Amazon and its spectacular rainforest. Truly a unique opportunity, memories of which will remain with you for years to come.".

I am just wondering what exactly this entails. Is it a boat trip? Are we based in a number of locations? Is it hotel accommodation?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks, Anne-Marie
