On a few JY tours I have done you can go online the the Airline 24 hrs before and book in on line..and choose your seat and print out the boarding pass, so then its all done before hand, then you just go to baggage drop off. Like you I like an aisle seat on a long flight.

I would suggest you give us a call and let one of our holiday advisors know about your request. They will make a note on your booking and ask the airline for you. It's also worth mentioning it at check-in.
