I'm getting quietly excited now as the weeks are flying fast and I keep thinking of the wonderful sights in store for us. I am however a little concerned in wondering how much money I shall need as I understand it is a very expensive country.

You will be seeing many of the most famous landmarks but I would also recommend seeing Moscow's amazing Metro, which is lavishly decorated with chandeliers and many other ornate features.

Another tip is to make sure you spend or change your roubles before you fly home - I found it very hard to change them back in the UK.
